Md. Monsur Ali
Designation : Managing Director
I have over 25 years of professional experience (2000–2026) in the ship recycling, environmental compliance, and occupational health and safety sectors in Bangladesh. My career spans leadership roles in industry associations, environmental consultancy, and safety management, with a strong focus on promoting safe, environmentally responsible, and compliant ship recycling operations.
From July 2000 to February 2010, I served as Assistant Secretary of the Bangladesh Ship Breaking & Recycling Association (BSBRA), Chattogram, where I was responsible for administrative management, regulatory coordination, and policy support. In this role, I directed office workflows, coordinated departmental activities, managed high-level correspondence, and prepared comprehensive reports for the Board of Directors and Executive Committee, gaining extensive insight into the regulatory framework of the ship recycling sector.
Since June 2011, I have been associated with M.A. Enterprise, and I currently serve as Managing Director of M.A. Enterprise Safety Agency & Training Institute (January 2023 – Present). In this capacity, I oversee all aspects of organizational operations, financial management, statutory compliance, and liaison with regulatory authorities, including the Bangladesh Ship Recycling Board (BSRB). My focus is on implementing safe, environmentally sound ship recycling processes, ensuring proper management of hazardous materials such as asbestos, glass wool, paint residues, chemicals, sludge oil, and other potentially harmful substances, while prioritizing worker health and safety. Our operations fully comply with Hong Kong Convention (HKC) standards, with vessel documentation processed through IMO-aligned green recycling practices, ensuring both legal compliance and strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) accountability.
From 2011 to 2021, I also served as Managing Partner of Green Environment Solution Ltd, providing environmental consultancy and compliance support to ship recycling yards. During this period, I led the implementation of EIA and EMP studies, environmental monitoring, green yard development, installation and maintenance of safety machinery (including HEPA filters, oily water separators, and incinerators), and comprehensive HSE training programs. These initiatives were designed to equip workers with the skills necessary to maintain accident-free, environmentally compliant operations, strictly adhering to international

Captain. Md. Nur Nabi
Designation : Team Leader
Captain Md. Nur Nabi possesses extensive professional maritime experience in ship operation and ship management, supported by his internationally recognized Master Mariner Certificate of Competency. He has practical exposure to onboard operational control, navigational safety, and management of shipboard personnel in accordance with international maritime standards.
In addition, he has worked for approximately three (3) years with M.A Enterprise safety Agency & Training institute as a Team Leader, where he was responsible for leading inspection teams, supervising safety and compliance activities, coordinating operational assessments, and supporting implementation of safety management requirements relevant to ship recycling and related maritime operations. His combined seagoing and safety-agency experience enables effective leadership, operational oversight, and compliance-focused supervision in line with BSRB expectations.

Engr. Mohammad Rezaul Huque
Designation : Marine Engineer (Mechanical)
Engr. Mohammad Rezaul Huque has extensive professional experience in marine and mechanical engineering operations, supported by his academic qualification in Marine Engineering and Class–I Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency issued by the Department of Shipping, Bangladesh.
He has served for over fifteen (15) years in seagoing capacities, progressing from Cadet Engineer to Chief Engineer on various vessels, with hands-on responsibility for operation, maintenance, and supervision of marine machinery and mechanical systems. His experience includes engine room management, machinery performance monitoring, safety compliance, and technical troubleshooting.
In addition to sea service, he has worked as a Plant Engineer at a 10.9 MW power plant and has experience in operation and maintenance activities within industrial power generation facilities. He has worked for approximately three (3) years with with M.A. Enterprise Safety Agency & Training Institute as marine engineer. His combined marine and shore-based engineering experience enables him to provide effective mechanical and technical support relevant to ship recycling, equipment assessment, and operational compliance in line with the requirements of the Bangladesh Ship Recycling Board (BSRB).

Prof. Md. Arshad
Designation : Chief Chemist
Prof. Md. Arshad possesses extensive academic and technical experience in the field of applied chemistry, supported by postgraduate qualifications in both chemistry and computer science & engineering. His academic background provides strong competency in chemical analysis, data interpretation, and technical evaluation relevant to industrial and environmental applications.
He has twenty-nine (29) years of academic experience as a lecturer across multiple departments in various educational institutions. Since 2015, he has been serving as a Visiting Lecturer at the Marine Fisheries Academy. He has worked for approximately three (3) years with M.A. Enterprise Safety Agency & Training Institute as Chief Chemist, where he was responsible for conducting chemical analysis, identifying and assessing hazardous substances, supervising laboratory activities, and preparing technical and analytical reports to support safety, environmental protection, and regulatory compliance related to ship recycling operations.
His combined academic expertise and practical safety-agency experience enable him to effectively support hazardous material management, environmental monitoring, and compliance with applicable national regulations and international standards under the Bangladesh Ship Recycling Board (BSRB).

Mohammad Monir
Designation : Electrical Engineer

Md. Ali Asgar
Designation : Director (Operational)
I have long-standing, hands-on experience in both operational and administrative functions within organizations involved in ship recycling–related activities. I served for approximately twenty (20) years with the Bangladesh Ship Breaking & Recycling Association (BSBRA) as an Office Assistant, where I developed practical expertise in office administration, day-to-day operational coordination, and regulatory support activities. This role allowed me to work closely with industry stakeholders and gain a clear understanding of the operational realities of the ship recycling sector.
Since 2023, I have been serving as Director (Operational) of M.A. Enterprise. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing daily operational activities, supervising field-level coordination, and supporting the implementation of safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements relevant to ship recycling facilities.

Mohammad Rafiq
Designation : Chief Coordinator
Mohammad Rafiq has professional experience in relevant functional areas and has worked with several safety agencies. He is responsible for coordinating technical teams, managing inspection logistics, and supporting documentation and communication processes.

Shipra Dey
Designation : Manager IT
Mrs. Shipra Dey has professional experience in computer operation and office management. She supports administrative functions, document control, digital data management, and internal IT coordination necessary for regulatory reporting and record keeping.

Mr. Milton Dey
Designation : IT Engineer/ EHS Expert
Mr. Milton Dey has over six (6) years of professional experience working with recognized Safety Agencies in Bangladesh as a Safety Expert and Compliance Inspector within the ship recycling sector. He has served in multiple technical and supervisory roles with responsibilities covering Ship IHM inspection and documentation, implementation and monitoring of safety management systems, environmental protection measures, and regulatory compliance in accordance with national and international ship recycling requirements.
He has practical experience in conducting safety inspections, compliance monitoring, ISO internal audits, preparation and maintenance of compliance documentation, reporting to regulatory authorities, and providing technical IT support for compliance systems, audit records, and digital data management. His combined expertise in IT engineering and EHS enables effective integration of compliance reporting, safety oversight, and environmental management within ship recycling facilities.

Mohammad Maruf
Designation : Environment Expert
Mr. Mohammad Maruf has over four (4) years of practical professional experience working directly with ship recycling yards in Bangladesh as an Environment Expert. He has been actively involved in environmental monitoring, implementation of environmental protection measures, waste and hazardous material management, and compliance with applicable environmental rules and guidelines relevant to ship recycling activities.
He worked at SS Green Ship Breaking Yard (2022–2024) and is currently employed at Taihua Steel Enterprise, Sitakunda, Chattogram, where he continues to perform duties related to environmental supervision, monitoring of yard activities, pollution prevention, and maintenance of environmental records. His experience includes implementation of Environmental Management Systems (EMS), chemical management systems, and water, energy, and waste management practices in ship recycling facilities.
His hands-on yard-level experience enables him to effectively support environmental compliance and monitoring activities in accordance with the requirements of the Bangladesh Ship Recycling Board (BSRB) and other relevant authorities.
